If you’re receiving an error during checkout, here’s what it means and how you can fix it:
Error Code 822 – Address Mismatch
Your billing address (including postal/ZIP code) must exactly match what your bank has on file. Double-check for typos or formatting.
Error Codes 314 or 697 – Bank Authorization Issues
Your financial institution declined the transaction. This can happen if your card has limits for online purchases or daily spending. Please contact your bank for details.
Please note: If you see a charge on your account, it may be a temporary pre-authorization. The funds will be released shortly, depending on your bank's policy.
You can also try the following to troubleshoot:
- Double-check your billing address and postal code
- Try a different payment method
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Use a different browser such as (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge – sometimes this makes a difference!)
- Switch devices. Try completing your order on another phone, tablet, or computer.
- Contact your financial institution. Especially if you're getting a bank-related error or restrictions might apply to your card.
