At FAN EXPO, the safety and well-being of all attendees, guests, exhibitors, staff, and volunteers is our top priority. We are committed to creating a fun, inclusive, and secure environment where fans of all ages can celebrate their passions safely.
Event Safety Guidelines:
Respect Personal Space: Everyone has the right to enjoy the event comfortably. Always ask for consent before touching, taking photos, or engaging in close interactions with others—including those in costume.
Cosplay is Not Consent: Cosplay is a big part of our events, but it is never an invitation for unwanted attention. Harassment of any kind—verbal, physical, or visual—will not be tolerated. Please see our costume policy here and our harassment policy here.
Follow Staff Instructions: For your safety and the safety of others, please follow all instructions from event staff, security personnel, and volunteers.
Emergency Procedures: In the event of an emergency, listen to announcements and follow the directions of staff and emergency responders. Emergency exits are clearly marked throughout the venue.
Lost Items or Persons: If you’ve lost something—or someone—please report it to the nearest staff member or visit the Customer Service Desk for assistance.
Report Incidents: If you witness or experience anything that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please report it as soon as possible. You can do so in person at the Customer Service Desk or click here to complete our incident report form.
Health & Hygiene: We encourage good hygiene practices, including frequent handwashing or sanitizing. FAN EXPO follows all local health guidelines in effect at the time of the event.
Props Policy: All props must comply with our Prop Policy. Real weapons, dangerous materials, or anything that could cause harm are strictly prohibited. To view our policy, click here.
